Seaport Global Holdings LLC seeks an experienced and highly motivated Human Resources Associate to join our NYC-based Human Resources team.
The ideal candidate is an adept problem‐solver capable of monitoring work independently, and will synergize with the team’s emphasis on client service and operational excellence. The Human Resources Associate will play an instrumental role in implementing a number of engaging department initiatives, including recruiting, diversity and inclusion, performance management, employee experience, and the firm’s summer internship program.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ of relevant experience in Human Resources.
- College degree in related area of study preferred.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now, specifically the payroll, reporting, and time and attendance modules, is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficiency is a must).
- Familiarity with Excel functions such as VLookups, Countifs and Pivot tables.
Duties
- Serve as the point of contact for employee inquiries to the department.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Facilitate recruitment effort, including posting openings and screening applicants.
- Prepare reporting including semi-monthly payroll and time and attendance.
- Implement improvements to current processes and procedures.
- Administer and maintain various employee benefit programs.
