BNY Mellon has been named to two prestigious corporate recognition lists in the first month of 2023:
Fortune’s “World’s Most Admired Companies” and
JUST Capital and CNBC’s “Most Just Companies”
Placement on this year’s FORTUNE list marks the 26th time BNY Mellon has been named one of the most admired companies in the world. The firm increased its ranking by two spots, both on the list overall and in the ‘Superregional Banks’ industry category, rising to #4 in ‘Superregional Banks.’
Fortune collaborates with Korn Ferry to conduct a corporate reputation survey of 645 companies with revenues of $10 billion or more, located in 27 different countries. Executives, directors, and analysts are asked to rate enterprises in their own industry on nine criteria.
"Being named one of FORTUNE’s "Most Admired Companies" for the 26th time and counting – as well as one of CNBC and Just Capital's "Most Just Companies" – speaks not only to our legacy and culture, but also where we’re going as a company," said BNY Mellon CEO Robin Vince. "Deep client trust and longstanding relationships paired with a track record of innovation present a compelling value proposition for clients and pride for our teams. I continue to feel inspired by the opportunity we have and our incredible global teams in place to seize them."
Additionally, BNY Mellon ranked #91 (out of 1,000) on JUST Capital’s “Most Just Companies” list, also placing #2 on their Capital Markets list and #1 and #3 in the categories of ‘Workers’ and ‘Environment’ within Capital Markets, respectively.
In partnership with CNBC, JUST Capital collects and analyzes data to rank how the 1,000 largest public U.S. companies perform across 20 issues that Americans prioritize in the following categories: workers, customers, communities, the environment and shareholders and governance.
