Ulster Savings Bank is pleased to announce the promotions of two long-standing branch employees: Rocco J. Pucino III and Melissa Gay. Each employee has worked at Ulster Savings Bank’s New Paltz location for many years.
Rocco J. Pucino III has been promoted to VP/Retail Banking Officer at the bank’s Kingston headquarters. In Mr. Pucino’s new role, he will be responsible for overseeing and directing the Retail Banking area by providing guidance and support to the bank’s 15 branch locations.
A Newburgh, NY resident, Mr. Pucino is a graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking located at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He is currently attending SUNY Plattsburgh on a path to graduate in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Rocco serves as treasurer and board member of the HealthAlliance Hospital Foundation and is a member of the New Paltz Rotary. He has been a bank employee since 2003.
Melissa Gay, an employee of Ulster Savings Bank since 2012, has been promoted to Branch Manager at the bank’s New Paltz location. Ms. Gay, a New Paltz resident, will manage the operations of her branch and further develop community relations.
She holds a BA degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology from SUNY New Paltz. She also holds an AS degree in Math and Science and an AS degree in Criminal Justice from SUNY Ulster. Melissa is a member of the New Paltz Rotary and will be participating in their Backpack Program that supplies food and toiletries to disadvantaged students in the New Paltz Central School District.
