JoJo Siwa is stepping into a new chapter of her life — and new friendships — following her emotional breakup with Kath Ebbs.

Over the weekend, the 21-year-old Dance Moms alum was spotted at a golf and tennis club in the U.K. alongside Celebrity Big Brother UK costar Chris Hughes, 32. A fan captured a casual moment between the two, sharing a photo on X that showed Siwa dressed down in a black T-shirt, while Hughes, known from Love Island UK, carried tennis equipment. “JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes were at my golf club earlier lol,” the fan captioned the snap, quickly stirring buzz around the pair’s growing connection off-screen.

Later the same evening, Hughes reposted an Instagram Story featuring himself, Siwa, and a group of friends relaxing at a pub. In the cozy image, Siwa rested her hand on Hughes’ shoulder—a subtle but telling moment that caught fans’ attention.

The outing came just a day after Siwa’s public split from Ebbs, which unfolded at the Celebrity Big Brother UK season finale afterparty on April 26. Ebbs — who uses they/them and she/her pronouns — later addressed the breakup on Instagram, describing feeling “so numbed out right now and so disoriented” in the emotional aftermath.

Ebbs reflected on the split, suggesting Siwa’s Big Brother UK experience changed their bond: "I was told they felt uncertain and that, inside the house, they understood I wasn’t the one they wanted to share their future with."

Meanwhile, Siwa herself underwent a major personal realization during her time on the show. In a conversation with housemate Danny Beard, she opened up about her evolving identity, saying, “I’ve realized, ‘Oh no, I’m not a lesbian, I’m queer.’”
