Stock market on Monday
Key indices on the New York Stock Exchange declined by up to 0.7% at the beginning of Monday's trading session amid the situation in Ukraine and rising energy prices.
According to data posted on the trading site's website, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 0.67 per cent in the first minutes of trading. The S&P 500 index fell 0.45 per cent. The Nasdaq electronic exchange index was down 0.07 per cent.
Shares of KVH Industries (NASDAQ: KVHI) opened high at $8.50 today. However, in Friday's trading it closed at $8.44. It is worth noting that the company will release a report today.
Shares of BankFinancial (NASDAQ: BFIN) opened lower today at USD 10.75. And in Friday's trading it closed at US$10.77.
Shares of Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) opened slightly higher at US$163.36 and the stock closed at US$163.17 in Friday trading.
Shares of technology start-up Metromile (NASDAQ: MILE) opened today at US$1.0100. In the last 5 days, the company's shares have lost -21.50%.
Shares of Cortexyme (NASDAQ: CRTX) opened today lower at $4.3200 and closed at $4.3800 in Friday trading. The stock has lost -2.28% in the last 5 days.
Adverum Biotechnologies (NASDAQ: ADVM) shares opened at $1.2300 today. Over the last 5 days, the company's shares have lost -6.72%.
Also of note, WTI crude oil futures rose $0.77 to $116.45 a barrel on Monday morning.
