To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree in Management, Healthcare, Nursing, Education, Instructional Technology, or related field. Knowledge of patient simulation services and instructional technologies. Computer proficiency in PC and Mac-based software applications: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills. Experience synthesizing data. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills. Ability to work under pressure and reliably meet deadlines. Ability to prioritize work demands and work with minimal supervision. Ability to carry out responsibilities in a timely and meticulous manner demonstrating initiative and creativity. Ability to coordinate training assignments, tasks, and schedules. Ability to work effectively in a team environment with healthcare professionals, faculty and students. Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding job assignments and sensitive issues. Ability to assess situations and adapt to a highly dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree, Tableau proficiency, Experience managing teams, Web design, Experience in education. Knowledge of medical terminology, human anatomy, physiology and clinical applications. Knowledge of videotape recording, duplication, mixing and editing. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. |

Working conditions: | We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager for the New York Simulation Center for the Health Sciences (NYSIM) reports directly to the Administrative Director and Assistant Dean of Simulation Education for NYSIM. The position oversees the operations of the Simulation Center, a 6-7 day per week, 12 hour a day operation, ensuring that high quality service and exceptional learner/faculty experience is provided and maintained. Provides leadership and mentorship for NYSIM staff to carry out the goals and strategic plan. NYU Grossman School of Medicine provides its staff with far more than just a place to work.
