Return of money in the underground
In New York City, a refund will be made over the long period of existence of the underground.
The new payment system will replace the old and familiar MetroCard payment method until 2023. The new system will allow passengers to receive a refund for poor service on the New York City underground.
For example, one of the passengers on the New York Underground paid for the ticket, but his train was delayed. He had to call a taxi and when he arrived home, he went into his account with the card he was paying with and applied for a refund.
After all, the bank returned the money to him on his card. The passenger said: "I applied for a refund as the service I paid for was not provided because the train was delayed that day". Also, he said that the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) did not update their application until this delay occurred.
Until the city administration started promoting the new system on turnstiles a year ago, it was almost impossible to get a refund.
In some cases, people were able to return the money, for example, if the payment card failed. Before the MetroCard was available on the New York City underground, passengers could not refund money for a token they had bought if they had already dropped it on the turnstile.
But today, the new metro payment system in New York City allows residents to apply for a refund.
