Zak and Holly: It’s Over
After years of ups and downs, Holly Madison and Zak Bagans have ended their relationship once and for all.
The former Girls Next Door star, 45, and the Ghost Adventures host, 47, had a notoriously on-again, off-again romance that spanned more than five years. But on the latest episode of her podcast, Girls Next Level, Madison confirmed that this time, there’s no going back.
Speaking to her cohost and longtime friend Bridget Marquardt, Madison revealed that she and Bagans went their separate ways earlier this month, just after the passing of her close friend, Luke “The Dingo” Trembath.
"And then the day after that, Zak and I broke up for good, for good," she said, acknowledging that fans might be confused given their history of breakups. "I know we’ve been very off and on, you guys are probably like, ‘You guys broke up last spring, right?’"
She went on to explain that while they had broken up and reconciled multiple times over the years, this time was different. "We were very off and on for the past year, very much. So we broke up and — I mean — unfollowed on social media, which we’ve never unfollowed each other before through all the breakups," she added, signaling the finality of their split.
Madison and Bagans first started dating in June 2019, months after she finalized her divorce from Electric Daisy Carnival founder Pasquale Rotella. The former couple shares two children, daughter Rainbow (born in 2013) and son Forest (born in 2016).
Before her relationship with Bagans, Madison was widely known for her time in the Playboy Mansion, dating Hugh Hefner from 2001 to 2008. Her experience was chronicled on the hit reality series The Girls Next Door, where she was part of the famous trio alongside Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson. In her 2015 memoir, Down the Rabbit Hole, Madison opened up about the complexities of life in the mansion, shedding light on the reality behind the glamorous facade.
Now, as Madison moves forward, it appears she is ready to close this chapter of her life for good.
