The grandson of Queen Elizabeth II got a job at one of the Silicon Valley startups called BetterUp. Prince Harry's new position now sounds like "tech impact leader".
According to the head of the BetterUp company, Harry's role as an employee of the company will not be related to reporting and control over reports, and in spite of his leadership position, he will not have direct reports. His work will focus on developing product strategy, influencing problem solving, philanthropy and public speaking on the topic of mental health, which he has emphasized on several occasions.
BetterUp was founded in 2013 and is currently a fast-growing company with a constantly increasing capitalization and number of employees, as well as a list of well-known and influential clients. BetterUp's activities are online coaching, psychological assistance, trainings and all kinds of distance development. According to the latest data, in February this year, the company attracted almost 130 million investments and is worth about 2 billion on the market. According to the director of the company, the plans include consolidation and global recognition and, possibly, an initial IPO.
