Elon Musk talks about the planned "Twitter 2.0" update and the innovations the social network will receive.

The new Twitter concept sounds like "an app for everything". The billionaire stated that there will be interactive advertisements in the social network. For example, if a user likes a post of HBO Max, the system will analyze his profile and determine which house from the world of series "House of the Dragon" he belongs to.

At the same time, the updated version of Twitter will have the ability to publish long posts, new features for videos and changes to the payment system.

Elon Musk also announced that private messages sent by users will be encrypted. Moxie Marlinspike, the founder of the secure messenger Signal, will help Twitter with this.

The businessman recalled the relaunch of the paid Twitter Blue subscription, which will feature three types of verification ticks blue will be for regular users, grey for government accounts and gold for companies.

According to The Verge, Elon Musk plans to introduce audio and video calls to Twitter in the near future.

Also, Elon Musk recently said that the number of Twitter users could reach a billion a month within a year and a half, entrepreneur Elon Musk admitted. He stated this on Twitter.

Musk published slides from an internal presentation for employees, it announces the appearance of a new version of the social network Twitter 2.0 The Everything App, with features of secure correspondence, long tweets etc.

In addition, according to the businessman, the number of time spent on the social network has increased, reaching 8 billion daily active minutes in the last week, and the level of "hate speech" is at the same level as at the end of last year.

Musk's publication was commented on by psychology book author Jordan Peterson, believing that "this is what failure looks like". "I think I see the prospect of reaching a billion monthly users in 12-18 months," he wrote.
