Friday's close of trading

The US stock market ended Friday's trading mixed, as oil and gas, utilities and finance sectors strengthened.

The market is performing on the back of negative momentum from the technology, consumer services and health care sectors. At the close on the New York Stock Exchange the Dow Jones rose 0.44% to a one-month high, the S&P 500 rose 0.51% and the Nasdaq Composite fell 0.16%.
