Mark Zuckerberg in 12th place
Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg has slipped to 12th on the list of the world's richest people, amid a decline in his company's share price on Thursday. This is according to Forbes' real-time billionaire ranking.
His fortune is currently estimated at $84.8 billion, overnight Zuckerberg lost $29.7 billion (25.9%), the ranking indicates. The daily reduction in capital Meta chief is one of the largest in history, Zuckerberg in this list of records ahead of perhaps only Elon Musk, the magazine wrote. Last year, the head of Tesla lost $33 billion in a 24-hour period.
Zuckerberg has been among the top 10 richest people since 2015, CNBC points out.

Zuckerberg is ranked 10th in Bloomberg's billionaire ranking with a net worth of $89.6 billion. According to the ranking, the head of Meta lost $31 billion.
