A collection from Lego & Target
Target announced in October that it would be partnering with Lego to launch an exclusive collection of limited-edition merchandise.
The collection, with nearly 300 items, was launched on Saturday.
While some of the items are traditional Lego sets, the 'Lego Collection x Target' also includes plush toys, wrapping paper, clothing for children and adults, home decor, kitchenware and pet supplies inspired by iconic Lego cubes.
According to an October press release, most items cost less than $30 and are sold exclusively at Target.
Prices in the collection start at $1.50 for a gift bag One of the most expensive items is the "Lego Creator Expert Gingerbread House Assembly Kit," which costs $164.99.
Other items in the collection include other brick building kits, ranging in price from $4.99 for a festive Christmas tree to $119.99 for the "Art Project" set. The Lego Collection x Target also includes children's hats for $15, children's down jackets for $35 and adult down jackets for $60.
There are also dog and cat down jackets priced between $13.99 and $15.99, depending on size.
Although the collection has just been released, some items have already sold out, including a set of four 40oz ceramic mugs as of Saturday morning. Other items, such as the Plush Gingerbread Man, are listed as having only one or two items.
In an October statement, Target executive vice president and chief sales officer Jill Sando said the shop's customers "love the Lego brick sets".
"In fact, Target is one of the top destinations for families shopping for the brand," Sando said in a statement. "As the holiday season approaches, we saw an opportunity to team up with one of our long-time partners to create something really special for our guests at a time of year when differentiation and value are paramount."
"As our guests continue to redefine their holiday traditions, we hope this collection will inspire them to make new memories this season and celebrate the most important thing spending time with family and friends," Sando added.
