Darren Newberry is Senior Vice President, Store Operations at CarMax.

Mr. Newberry helped implement enterprise-wide, transformational change by equipping and empowering associates with innovative omni-channel offerings to provide a customer-focused, exceptional experience. This included the rollout of CarMax’s interactive customer experience centers, which support customers over the phone or online with shopping and financing until the customer is ready to pick up their vehicle at an area store or receive the vehicle through home delivery.

Mr. Newberry joined CarMax in 2004 and has served in a variety of roles across the country including regional vice president general manager for the Los Angeles and Baltimore regions. Prior to joining CarMax, he served as a store manager and area manager for Bed, Bath and Beyond for ten years.
