Biography
William B. Summers, Jr. is the retired chairman and chief executive office of McDonald Investments Inc., an investment banking and securities firm that operates as part of KeyBanc Capital Markets.
Career
Prior to his retirement, he served as the firm’s chairman from 2000–2006 and chief executive officer from 1994–2000. Previously, Summers was chairman of Key Capital Partners and executive vice president of KeyCorp from 1998–2000.
He is a director of Integer Holdings Corporation (formerly Greatbatch, Inc.) and a member of the advisory board for Molded Fiber Glass Companies. In addition, Summers served as a director of Developers Diversified Realty Corporation from 2004–2011, and as a board member and chairman for the NASDAQ Stock Market. He is a trustee of Baldwin Wallace University and board member for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum, the U.S. Army War College Foundation, and the Cleveland Convention & Visitors Bureau.
