Biography
Robert A. Livingston is the retired president and chief executive officer of Dover Corporation, a diversified global industrial manufacturer.
Career
Previously, he headed several of Dover's business units, serving as president and chief executive officer of Dover Engineered Systems, Inc. from 2007–2008; president and chief executive officer of Dover Electronics, Inc. from 2004–2007; president of Vectron International, Inc. from 2001–2004; and executive vice president from 1998–2001 and vice president of finance and chief financial officer from 1987–1998 of Dover Technologies, Inc.
Prior to its acquisition by Dover in 1983, Livingston was vice president of finance for K&L Microwave and continued to serve in that capacity until 1984, when he became vice president and general manager, a role he held until 1987. He has been a director of Dover Corporation since 2008.

Livingston holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Salisbury University.
