Huawei is cutting its gadget lineup in an effort to keep the industry going. The difficulties and weakening of Huawei have arisen due to the protracted US actions. According to Washington, the corporation poses a threat to national security. The administration of former US President Donald Trump has cut off access to telecommunications equipment, software and technologies for Huawei to continue working in this area. These sanctions led to the fact that Huawei was forced to sell the Huawei Honor line of smartphones to a consortium of 30 buyers for an indeterminate amount. The abandonment of this line of budget business smartphones will allow the company to continue to fight for the continued survival of the trademark. Selling Honor will give the company some leeway and cash flow to keep the brand running and business continuity. The loss of Honor will bring the company worldwide rating and reputation losses, as well as a huge drop in sales.

In the new Honor firm, Huawei will not be involved in administration or shareholding.

Prior to the introduction of the latest US sanctions against Huawei present year, the company managed to accumulate resources, as well as a decline in sales from opponent Samsung, helped the company to briefly become the world's best phone seller, which would have been impossible without the Honor line.

In July, Samsung got back  the lead and Huawei took second position. The third position in the leaders in the sale of smartphones belongs to Xiaomi.
