Genesco Inc. is a specialty retailer engaged in sourcing and design, marketing and distribution of footwear and accessories. The Company operates through four segments, Journeys Group, Schuh Group, Johnston & Murphy Group, and Licensed Brands.
The Journeys Group segment comprises of the Journeys, Journeys Kidz and Little Burgundy retail footwear chains and e-commerce operations. The Schuh Group segment comprises of the Schuh retail footwear chain and e-commerce operations. The Johnston & Murphy Group segment comprises of Johnston & Murphy retail operations, e-commerce operations and wholesale distribution of products under the Johnston & Murphy brand.
The Licensed Brands segment comprises of the licensed Dockers, Levi's, and G.H. Bass brands, as well as other brands it licenses for footwear. The Company operates approximately 1,425 retail footwear and accessory stores in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
