  • Requirements for applicants:
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
    • No previous experience necessary.
    • Requires use of PPE mask and goggles at all times.
    • Requires prolonged periods of standing, walking and sitting.
    • Ability to lift, push or pull up to 15 lbs. using proper body mechanics.
  • Duties:
    • Screen all visitors, employees, vendors and patients upon entrance into the building by asking appropriate questions and taking temperatures.
    • Report temperatures of over 100 degrees and/or affirmative answers to required questions to Nursing Supervisor for further screening.
    • Distribute masks to anyone entering facilities without masks (guests/employees are not permitted to grab their own mask out of the box).
    • Properly clean thermometers between screenings and maintain proper hand washing.
    • Utilize proper protective equipment including, but not limited to, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) mask and goggles at all times.
    • Welcome and provide general information to visitors.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Working conditions:

    Full Job Description: The Entrance Screener is responsible for screening employees, vendors, visitors and patients for current temperature readings and distributing masks as needed. Follows proper Infection Control Guidelines related to cleaning of thermometers between screenings and required handwashing. The Entrance Screener is a long-term temporary position.

    Shift varies- occasional 12 hour shifts.
