Charlotte Wells (born 1986/1987) is a Scottish film director known for her 2022 feature film Aftersun, for which she won the Gotham Independent Film Award for Breakthrough Director.
Wells completed the Graduate Film program at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts. During the program, she created three short films: Tuesday (2015), Laps (2016) and Blue Christmas (2017).
