Cartwright's Candid Reveal
Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright made a notable appearance at the White House Correspondents Dinner on Saturday, April 27, transitioning from The Valley to the Capitol.
Despite their recent separation, Cartwright, 35, dazzled in a black strapless gown with matching gloves, attending without her estranged husband by her side. Taylor, 44, also attended solo, each making their own entrance following their earlier attendance at the White House Correspondents’ Garden Brunch in Washington, D.C.
Although they arrived separately and did not pose together for photographs, Taylor showcased Cartwright on his Instagram Story, highlighting their presence at the event. The couple was invited as guests of the Daily Mail.
Their appearance at the White House Correspondents Dinner marks a significant moment, occurring a year after Ariana Madix made her debut at the same event post-Sandoval. Last year, Madix attended alongside Lisa Vanderpump and Lala Kent, also as guests of the Daily Mail. Taylor and Cartwright's attendance amid their highly publicized split has drawn considerable attention.
Before their recent project, Bravo’s The Valley, Taylor and Cartwright gained fame on Vanderpump Rules. Their wedding in 2019 was a highlighted event on the show, filmed a year prior to their departure. The couple expanded their family with the birth of their son Cruz in 2021.
Despite announcing their separation in February, Cartwright expressed openness to reconciliation in her recent Us Weekly cover story. She emphasized the need for significant changes from Taylor, highlighting issues around respect, accountability, and personal growth.
Cartwright's expectations are clear; she desires meaningful actions beyond apologies to address the challenges in their relationship. She moved out temporarily due to ongoing disagreements, emphasizing the importance of resolving underlying issues.
