US President Joe Biden's rating
US President Joe Biden's popularity among Americans has fallen to a new low since his inauguration, according to a Gallup poll released on Friday. The results of a Gallup poll published on Friday show that the popularity of President Joe Biden has fallen to a new low since his inauguration.
According to the data, 38% of respondents approve of Biden's job as head of state. The opposing view is held by 59% of respondents. The rest did not give an answer.
As the researchers note, this is the lowest rating for Biden recorded in Gallup polls since his inauguration in January 2021.
"President Joe Biden's approval rating has fallen below 40% for the first time and is now at a new low of 38%," the pollsters said.
It is worth noting that in February last year the rating of the American leader was 57%, according to Gallup polls. Over the following months the figure gradually declined. The service does not provide an explanation for this.
The Gallup poll was conducted among some 1,000 adult Americans nationwide between July 5 and 26. They were asked the questions over the phone.
The decline in the popularity of the American leader is also evidenced by the results of many other sociological surveys.
