5-7 years of experience in merchandising or merchandising operations. Proficient knowledge of merchandising tools, ex. PETE. Working knowledge of retail pipeline and business process. A love for details, dates and structure with the ability to be flexible, when needed. Ability to simplify complex information. Ability to participate constructively in inter-department communications including resolving conflicts and handling complex issues with tact and diplomacy. Experience working with dynamic organizations in a fast-paced environment. Skilled in creating, influencing and fostering partnerships throughout an organization. |
Duties: | Maintain the Merchandising input to the Brand Pipeline Calendar, ensuring that it is aligned with the product to market brand calendar as conflicts and schedule changes arise. This is inclusive of tools, process changes and operational/strategic initiatives. Manage overlapping and competing calendars to determine priorities. Ensure Merch Org is aware of cross functional dependencies. Help to drive the Merch project roadmap for new process creation/definition and refinement to existing process definition (inclusive of milestones i.e. B/W, Divisional Ideation, etc.). Represent Merch Org when vetting new seasonal calendar and P2B (Path to Booking) Timelines with the Ops team, prior to publishing. Attend Weekly Core Team meetings with Product Ops team to discuss upcoming deliverables/open issues; Partner with cross functional partners for alignment and to solve for issues. Ensure NA Merch is aware of any leveraged market shifts that would impact their Global View of GA. Generate new ideas on ways to improve the work for the department. Provide recommendations for tools and resources that allow for greater efficiency/effectiveness and streamlined workflow. Ensure teams have access to the Merchandising Pipeline most updated and accurate information. Ensure all tools/templates required are provided for the timely execution of Merch expectations; Leverage IT/Brand Analytics support as needed. Drive process and education across the below areas; Work with Director to own template/tool refinement and build with Merch Leads. |
