Quad’s Secret Romance Revealed
Quad Webb, star of Married to Medicine, is stepping out of the shadows with her new romantic partner, King, after nearly a year of keeping their relationship under wraps. Known for sharing her life's ups and downs with Bravo viewers since the show’s debut in 2013, Quad is now ready to introduce her “knight in shining armor” to the world.
“I move in silence,” Quad, 44, told Us Weekly. Her decision to keep King private was intentional. “I didn’t want us to be affected by any outside influences or any noise,” she explained, emphasizing the importance of building a solid foundation before facing public scrutiny.
This season, Quad is embracing a fresh chapter, focusing on love away from the limelight. The reality star, who previously navigated a high-profile divorce and various friendships on the show, expressed a desire to approach her relationship with care and purpose.
“I wanted to truly get to know him and his family, to see if this was something for the long haul,” she shared. Unlike fleeting “micro relationships” often paraded on social media, Quad prioritized authenticity and spiritual alignment, opting to wait for what she called “God’s timing.”
Quad’s relationship made a splash during a recent Married to Medicine episode, where King, 41, threw her a lavish birthday celebration. The event left her castmates surprised and curious. “When they look at each other, they look like they love each other,” co-star Toya Bush-Harris observed.
Reflecting on her journey, Quad revealed the pivotal moment that solidified her feelings for King: a reconnection facilitated by a mutual friend. “I remember looking at him and saying, ‘You like me, don’t you?’” she said, recalling how his charm and calm demeanor captivated her.
As Quad continues to balance her personal and professional endeavors, including the recent launch of her S.A.S.S. All Purpose Seasoning on Amazon, she remains optimistic about the future. “The Lord knows that I have been through some things,” she said. “I stayed prayerful, and it just worked itself out.”
