Chilling Insight into Diddy’s Past
Tiffany Red, Cassie’s songwriter, revealed disturbing incidents she witnessed during Cassie’s relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs. Speaking on Secret Life of Diddy on October 9, Red shared the moment she first sensed something was wrong between the pair.
In 2015, during a phone call with Cassie — now 38—Diddy’s behavior took a troubling turn. Cassie had placed him on speakerphone, and Red recalled hearing him angrily interrogating his then-girlfriend. “Is someone in the car with you? I know someone is in the car with you,” Diddy demanded, his voice filled with suspicion.
“That was my first time being, like, ‘Something is wrong,’” Red told 20/20.
Later that same year, during Cassie’s 29th birthday celebration, Red said she witnessed Diddy’s aggression escalate. According to Red, Diddy cornered Cassie in a room and verbally berated her while his security stood by. “He was really mad, he was really close to her face and she just had her head down,” Red said, adding that the atmosphere around Diddy was one of fear and intimidation.
Red, who has penned several songs for Cassie, including “Joint (No Sleep)” in 2016 and “Simple Things” in 2019, described the singer as “sweet” and “a good person.” Reflecting on their working relationship, Red recalled a tense moment when Diddy once asked her, “You’re the one writing all these songs about me?” She admitted she felt uneasy, sensing that he didn’t want her to be too close to Cassie.
Diddy, 54, is currently detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, awaiting trial on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. His arrest on September 16 followed a grand jury indictment linked to a series of sexual assault lawsuits and a federal investigation. The indictment paints a disturbing picture of Diddy’s alleged long-term abuse of women to “fulfill his sexual desires” and protect his public image.
Diddy’s in hot water after a 2016 video leaked showing him assaulting Cassie, and he’s now claiming the Department of Homeland Security is trying to mess with his right to a fair trial. Despite the footage, Diddy did apologize, saying, “I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted.”
With Tiffany Red sharing more details, things aren’t looking great for him. The serious allegations are putting a big dent in his public image, sparking major conversations about what was really going on behind the scenes.
