Dealings with ad agency
The campaign staff of former US President Donald Trump has severed its relationship with the company that produced commercials for the politician, due to its decision to also work with another Republican candidate, Nikki Haley. This was reported by Politico newspaper.
According to Trump's campaign spokesperson Cheung, they will be doing a lot of things differently during the 2024 campaign, "with fresh energy and new ideas".
However, Politico reported that Donald Trump's campaign has finally decided not to collaborate with Jamestown Associates.
It is noted that people with close knowledge and connections to the situation said that Barney Keller, president of the consulting firm, had signed a contract with Haley. Keller has agreed to work for Haley separately from Jamestown Associates.
Also, it is noted that Larry Weitzner and Jason Miller of Jamestown Associates were the primary ad strategists for Donald Trump, with Miller joining the campaign as chief counsel.
Trump has begun to fill his campaign team with top advertisers such as Brian Jack, Christopher LaCivita and Susie Wiles.
Trump's campaign recently announced that Miller, who left Jamestown six years ago, would also be taking part.
It is worth knowing that on 15 November last year, Trump announced that he would run for president again. In mid-February, former US permanent representative to the UN Haley also announced her intention to run for the Republican Party in the 2024 US presidential election.
