The Mission
The revenues generated from event business and from member’s dues and fees are used to support the Club’s ongoing efforts to enhance the profession of journalism. This is done primarily through the efforts of our 501 C-3, The Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library at the National Press Club. The Library provides classes, training, panel discussions and other professional development activities to active journalists in transition, as well as to young journalists and journalism students. The client can support their activities by becoming a member of the Club; by hosting their next event, reception or news conference at our facilities; or by supporting the Library through a grant or donation.
