Biography
Aeneas S. Long is the founder of Bay Valuation Advisors (“BVA”), with over 20 years of experience serving life sciences and technology companies.
Career
Aeneas specializes in providing financial advisory services in the areas of valuation, primarily for financial and tax reporting purposes. Prior to establishing BVA, Aeneas Long was a Director in the San Francisco office of Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP, and was a core member of the Valuation Services group’s National Healthcare and Life Sciences Industry practice.
While at Deloitte, Aeneas was the client relationship manager for a number of the firm’s largest life science and technology clients, Aeneas also focused on providing consulting services to start-up ventures for the purposes of stock based compensation valuations, strategic planning and venture financing.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Aeneas held positions in the technology practice of Pricewaterhouse, as well as with a major U.S. investment bank and an international consulting firm specializing in issues surrounding the creation of shareholder value. Through these experiences, Aeneas brings an in-depth understanding of the capital markets and the drivers that contribute to value for a business enterprise.
