Rubeela Farooqi is Chief U.S. Economist at High Frequency Economics.

Career

Previously, Rubeela Farooqi was Senior Economist at Stone McCarthy Research Associates, where she worked with Ray Stone developing and managing the firm’s U.S. outlook. She also worked at ICAP/Reid-Thunberg, running their money market surveys.  In between, she spent time at Moore Capital, where she acquired hedge-fund experience.  She started her career at Citibank as an economist. She has been a Board member of the NYU Money Marketeers.

Education

Rubeela holds an M.A. in Economics from New York University.
