Andrew Pollard MRCP, FHEA, FIDSA, FRCPCH is a vaccinologist who specialises in paediatrics and is the Director of the Oxford Vaccine Group (OVG). He is a Professor of paediatric infection and immunity at the University of Oxford.
Pollard has had a long and distinguished career to date.
Pollard has been a member of the WHO Strategic Advisory Group of Experts (SAGE) on Immunization since 2016.

COVID-19 DNA vaccine trials
Pollard, who is Chief Investigator on the OVG's COVID-19 trials, leads the clinical trials for the ChAdOx1 COVID-19 vaccine, through the well-publicized transverse myelitis illness of one of the patients in Phase III clinical trials.
Pollard has made international media appearances to talk about "coronavirus endgame scenarios".
