Rebecca Minkoff’s RHONY Exit
Rebecca Minkoff’s time on The Real Housewives of New York City has officially come to an end.
The 42-year-old fashion designer took to Instagram on Tuesday, February 4 — coinciding with part two of the season 15 reunion on Bravo — to announce her departure from the reality series after just one season.
“I am truly grateful for the experience, the friendships, and the fans that have been part of this RHONY chapter,” Minkoff shared in a heartfelt Instagram story. “Time to turn the page.”
Her exit follows a day of headlines surrounding her recent interview with Us Weekly, where she addressed why she refrained from discussing her faith, Scientology, during the show. According to Minkoff, the topic “was never brought up in a manner that was respectful,” a sentiment that seemingly influenced her decision to move on.
In her Instagram post, Minkoff also shed light on her upcoming priorities, emphasizing a shift toward family and career. “2025 is a new beginning for me,” she wrote, highlighting her focus on her four children, her husband, and her longstanding fashion brand. Additionally, she teased projects such as her work with the Female Founder Collective, her podcast, and an upcoming book.
Throughout her RHONY stint, Minkoff’s faith was a recurring topic among castmates, sometimes met with skepticism. She recalled a particular incident involving Brynn Whitfield, saying, “I think that the other time she brought it up in the helicopter, she had already been drinking all day, and it was not done from a point of care.”
Despite the controversy, Minkoff expressed gratitude for the experience but made it clear that her next chapter lies beyond reality television.
