SLR Investment is a closed-end, externally managed, non-diversified management investment company. The Company invests primarily in privately held United States middle-market companies.
Its investment objective is to generate both current income and capital appreciation through debt and equity investments. It invests primarily invests directly and indirectly in leveraged, U. S. middle market companies in the form of cash flow senior secured loans including first lien and second lien debt instruments and asset-based loans including senior secured loans collateralized on a first lien basis primarily by current assets.
In addition, it invests in foreign markets, including emerging markets. Its investments generally range between $ five million and $100 million each. It also invests a portion of its portfolio in other types of investments, such as opportunistic investments. The Company's investment manager is SLR Capital Partners, LLC.
