History
After years of working together in digital media, Sean Griffey, Ryan Willumson and Eli Dickinson began to notice a consistent trend. They saw that, while mobile devices were changing the way people worked and consumed information, traditional business media content models, user interfaces and marketing programs were slow to adapt.
In 2012, they launched Industry Dive to meet the needs of busy industry executives: providing industry news and insights to help them do their jobs. The company originally set up shop in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, DC and launched in our first five industries: Construction, Education, Marketing, Utility and Waste.
The company likes to give back
Every quarter, Industry Dive makes donations to two charities. Employees represent organizations that they believe the company should support, and all staff votes for the recipients.
