Mr. Sanford is a Senior Managing Director on the Private Equity team. In his role, he helps lead the Firm’s Private Equity strategy, which invests in global companies across a variety of industries, market cycles, and structures.
Mr. Sanford serves on various Boards of Cerberus portfolio companies, including DynCorp International, Electrical Components International, Navistar Defense, and SubCom. He also has served on the Board of Avon Products, New Avon, YP, and Four Points Media.
Prior to joining Cerberus in 2006, Mr. Sanford was at Blackstone in its Restructuring and Reorganization Advisory Group, where he advised companies and creditors on a variety of restructuring transactions.
Mr. Sanford graduated with highest distinction from the Schreyer Honors College of the Pennsylvania State University.
