Biography

Jean-Marc Racine has served as Chief Product Officer of the Company since January 2022. Mr. Racine has over 25 years’ experience in product, marketing, sales and executive positions in the media and telecom industry working in France, UK and USA. Prior to joining Haivision, Jean-Marc consulted for leading service providers, technology and private equity firms supporting due-diligence, product, and technical strategies. Working with The Permira Funds, Jean-Marc supported Cisco’s SPVSS division spin-off to form Synamedia in 2018, a global video platform supplier where he then served as Chief Product Officer, based in London, until 2020.

Previously, Jean-Marc co-founded Farncombe Technology in 2007, a video and security specialist sold to Cartesian in 2015, where he then served as SVP Media & Telecom Advisory Services until 2018. From 1997 to 2004, Jean-Marc held several executive positions for CANAL+, the leading European media company serving as CEO of its US Subsidiary in San Francisco from 1999 to 2002, and as EVP Product & Marketing in Paris until the sale of the business in 2004. Jean_Marc received his master’s degree in engineering from Institut supérieur d’électronique de Paris (ISEP) in 1993.
