Mr. Thomas B. Crowley, Jr., also known as Tom, serves as the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Crowley Maritime Corporation of Titan Maritime, LLC and served as its President and Chief Operating Officer until June 7, 2016. Mr. Crowley serves as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Crowley Petroleum Distribution, Inc. and Crowley Marine Services, Inc. Mr. Crowley first started his career as a Ticket Collector for the San Francisco passenger... service, the Red and White Fleet. He performed in a number of different field jobs throughout Crowley organization. He began working his way through Crowley's management training program. During the two years prior to his father's death, Mr. Crowley headed up the Red and White Fleet, which allowed him to gain important management experience and profit and loss responsibilities for the business enterprise. He later came to work side by side with his father at corporate headquarters in San FranciscoOakland. Since taking over the leadership of Crowley Petroleum Distribution, Inc., Mr. Crowley worked to expand and position Crowley Petroleum for success in the 21st Century, focusing on growth as it relates to its expertise on water, while leveraging into new business areas. His portfolio approach to the business protects Crowley Petroleum Distribution, Inc. from assuming too much risk, while maximizing opportunities to grow. He has been Director of Crowley Maritime Corp. of Titan Maritime, LLC, since 1994. He serves as Director of Crowley Marine Services, Inc. and Crowley Petroleum Distribution, Inc. He served as a Director of GT Nexus, Inc. Mr. Crowley graduated with a Business Degree in Finance from the University of Washington.
