Kayvon Beykpour is general manager for Bluebird.

Career

He leads the team of researchers, designers, engineers, product managers, and customer operations people that are responsible for building the core features that make Twitter the place for public conversation. Previously, he led Twitter’s consumer product team and was responsible for defining Twitter’s product strategy.

Kayvon joined Twitter after the acquisition of Periscope, a live video broadcasting app he co-founded, in 2015. Prior to Periscope, he co-founded Terriblyclever Design, a development company that built the first mobile apps for universities like Stanford University’s iStanford and Duke University’s Duke Mobile. Following Terriblyclever’s acquisition to Blackboard, Kayvon ran the company’s mobile division and served on the executive management team for four years.

Education

Kayvon graduated from Stanford University with a degree in computer science.
