History
Since its founding in 2013, MoffettNathanson has been considered the standard-bearer for Media and Communications research. The firm has begun to expand beyond this original sector, recently adding Payments, Processors & IT Services to its research offerings.
MoffettNathanson distributes its research through one of Wall Street’s most experienced salesforces. The firm’s three senior Salespeople (Pat O’Connell, Ethan Steinberg, and John Towers) are Founding Partners of MoffettNathanson and cumulatively have over 50 years of experience in equity sales.
MoffettNathanson has been a leader in the development of the subscription-based payment model. A combination of regulatory and competitive forces is leading to the rapid dissolution of trading as the primary means of payment for research service.
