Description
MiNK Therapeutics, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company. The Company is specialized in discovery, development and commercialization of allogeneic, off-the-shelf, invariant natural killer T (iNKT) cell therapies to treat cancer and other immune-mediated diseases. iNKT cells are a T cell population that combine durable memory responses with the rapid cytolytic features of natural killer (NK) cells. iNKT cells offer therapeutic advantages as a platform for allogeneic therapy in that the cells naturally home to tissues, aid clearance of tumors and infected cells and suppress graft-versus-host-disease (GvHD).
The Company offers platform, which is designed for reproducible manufacturing for off-the-shelf delivery. Its product candidate, AGENT-797, is an off-the-shelf, allogeneic, native iNKT cell therapy that is in multiple Phase I clinical trials, which is used for the treatment of multiple myeloma.
