Kardo Razzazi is an actor.
He is the son of renowned Kurdish musicians Naser Razzazi and Marzia Fariqi. His parents fled Kurdistan, and he was born shortly after their arrival in Sweden.
Razzazi pursued his passion for acting by studying at Stockholms Elementära Teaterskola in 2005-2006 and later at the Theatre Academy in Malmö from 2008 to 2011. Following his education, he performed at various theaters, including Malmö Stadsteater, Stockholms stadsteater, and Folkteatern Göteborg.
His on-screen career began with roles in Swedish television series such as "Kungamordet" (2008) and "Kommissarie Winter" (2010). He gained further recognition with performances in "Starke man" (2011) and "10 000 timmar" (2014). Razzazi's versatility as an actor is evident from his diverse roles in both film and television.
In recent years, Razzazi has appeared in international productions, including "Backstabbing for Beginners" (2018) and "Rheingold" (2022). Notably, he starred in the 2023 Swedish disaster film "The Abyss" (original title: "Avgrunden"), which was released on Netflix and became one of the platform's most-watched films globally.
Throughout his career, Razzazi has demonstrated a remarkable ability to portray complex characters across various genres, establishing himself as a prominent figure in both Swedish and international cinema.
