Career

Davide Girelli was appointed Vice President and President and General Manager of BorgWarner Morse Systems in March 2022. In this role, Girelli is responsible for BorgWarner’s global MorseSystems business.
Previously, Girelli served as President and General Manager of Fuel Injection Systems, Vice President and General Manager Turbo Systems Europe and South America and Vice President and General Manager Europe and Asia for Morse Systems.

He began his career at BorgWarner in Italy in 2011. Girelli has nearly 25 years of experience in the automotive and aerospace industries. Prior to joining BorgWarner, he worked in research and
development and operations for several global companies including FCA, Trelleborg and ITT.

Education

Girelli earned a master’s degree in aerospace engineering at the University of Rome La Sapienza as well as a Master of Business Administration at the University of Turin.
