Biography

Mr. Jason Bass is co-head of Harris Williams' Transportation & Logistics Group.

Career

Mr. Bass has more than 15 years of middle market transaction experience including mergers and acquisitions, private placements, initial public offerings, and follow-on offerings. Having played a key role in over 125 transactions during his career, Mr. Bass has worked extensively with transportation services companies. Key niche focuses within the transportation sector have included third-party logistics, niche trucking, contract logistics, rail services and suppliers, supply chain technology, transportation equipment manufacturers and distributors, and marine transportation.

Prior to joining Harris Williams, Mr. Bass was a Managing Director and co-head of the Transportation & Logistics Investment Banking Group at BB&T Capital Markets. Mr. Bass also has previous experience with Janney Montgomery Scott LLC (now known as Janney Capital Markets).

Education and personal life

Mr. Bass earned a B.S. with a concentration in Finance from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce. Mr. Bass lives in Richmond with his wife and three children.
