Schedule for the week
US stock indices rose on Friday, ending the week with the biggest gain since November 2020.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average index rose 274.17 points (0.8%) to 34754.93 by market close on Friday. The S&P 500 rose 51.45 points (1.17%) to 4,463.12 points. The Nasdaq Composite rose 279.06 points (2.05%) to 13893.84.
It should be noted that for the week the Dow Jones rose 5.5%, the S&P 500 rose 6.2% and the Nasdaq gained 8.2%.
Corporate reports on Monday
On Monday, expect reports from companies such as Nike, HireRight Holdings, Icosavax, Marinus Pharmaceuticals, FAT Brands, Augmedix, Crexendo, Strata Skin Sciences, Nortech Systems and others.
Also, Fed Chairman Jerome Powell will speak at NABE conference.
Tuesday
Adobe, HealthEquity, Worthington Industries, Cyxtera Technologies, AAR corp., Solid Power, CinCor Pharma, BuzzFeed, MaxCyte and others will release the report.
New York Fed President John Williams will speak at BIS on Tuesday.
Wednesday
Reports from Exelon, Cintas, General Mills, H. B. Fuller, KB Home, First Advantage, EQRx, Winnebago Industries, Hyzon Motors, Steelcase, Enerpac Tool Group and others.
Fed Chairman Jerome Powell will speak on digital challlenges.
Also, New home sales (SAAR) for February 2022.
Thursday

As for upcoming economic news this week, Fed Governor Christopher Waller will speak on housing.
Also, Initial jobless claims, Durable goods orders (Feb.), Core capital goods orders (Feb.) and Current account deficit (Q4) will be known.
Markit manufacturing PMI (flash) and Markit services PMI (flash) will be known.
Friday
Reports will be issued by Privia Health Group, Delcath Systems, Sabine Royalty Trust, Genprex, Cadiz and others.
Also, the University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index (final), 5-year inflation expectations (final) and Pending home sales index will be released.
