Joe Biden's rating

The level of support for US President Joe Biden among US voters has fallen further, dropping to 39%. The results of a Harvard/Harris poll released by The Hill newspaper on Monday evening show this.

According to this analysis, only 18% of voters approve strongly of Biden's performance to date as president, another 21% "more or less" support him, while 53% of the country's residents, who exercise their right to elect and be elected, disapprove of his performance as chief of staff.

Back in November, reminded The Hill, to which Harvard/Harris exclusively provided its poll data, the support rate for Biden was 45%, which means that in the last two months it has dropped by 6%. The share of those dissatisfied with him increased by 2% over the same period, from 51%.

In a press conference at the White House on January 19, President Biden said he did not believe opinion polls showing a drop in his support among his fellow citizens. "I don't trust opinion polls," he said emphatically when asked by McClatchy News Service accredited White House correspondent Francesca Chambers how he plans to win back the confidence of Americans who voted for him in November 2020, and who have recently been denying him support.

The latest Harvard/Harris survey involved 1,815 American voters.
