Carpenter Ends Relationship

The singer reportedly ended the relationship three weeks ago, only a few months after Barry Keoghan starred in her music video for the hit song ‘Please Please Please’. The two first got together in December, during the promotional whirlwind for Keoghan's acclaimed film, Saltburn.

Their relationship became public when they posed together at the Grammys in February, where onlookers remarked on how "cute" they looked as a couple.

Keoghan, a BAFTA-award winner, had previously split from his long-term girlfriend Alyson Kierans last year, with whom he shares a son, Brando, born in August 2022. Despite their six-year age difference, the relationship reportedly ended due to Keoghan's drinking habits, which became a major point of contention.

“Barry’s behavior when drinking was causing a lot of frustration for Sabrina,” a source told The Sun. “She’s focused on her career, with her music soaring in the charts and an upcoming tour, and couldn’t continue in a relationship that was holding her back.”

Reports suggest that Keoghan’s previous relationship with dental nurse Alyson Kierans also ended due to his drinking habits. He had informed her of his new relationship with Carpenter before going public.

The breakup follows a dramatic incident where Carpenter, who recently topped the UK charts with her hit Espresso, was struck by a firework during a live performance. Fortunately, the former Disney star was unharmed and continued to wow her fans without missing a beat.
