Corporate shares after the close of trading
The NYSE closed Wednesday with key indices down 0.4-2.2 per cent on the back of the US Federal Reserve's (Fed) announcement that it is ready to raise interest rates by 50 basis points at once to combat inflation in the country.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 144.67 points (0.42%) to 34,496.51.
The S&P 500 index lost 43.97 points (0.97%) to 4,481.15 points.
The Nasdaq index fell 315.35 points (2.22%) to 13,888.82 points.
