Rashad Raisani is an American television writer, producer and showrunner best known for his work in procedural and action-drama television.
Raisani began his career on USA Network’s long-running series Burn Notice, where he rose from staff writer to co-executive producer. He later worked on shows including White Collar, Allegiance and 9-1-1: Lone Star, building a reputation in high-stakes, character-driven network drama.
He became more widely known within the 9-1-1 television franchise as a writer and executive producer. Raisani is currently an executive producer, co-creator and showrunner of ABC’s 9-1-1: Nashville, which he created alongside Ryan Murphy and Tim Minear. The series expanded the popular emergency-response franchise into a Nashville-set story blending rescue drama, family conflict and music-industry themes.
Throughout his career, Raisani has focused on ensemble storytelling, action-driven plots and emotionally grounded characters, making him a key creative figure behind several major television dramas.
