Nicholas Joseph Viall is an American actor, television personality and model who had a starring role on the 21st season of ABC's The Bachelor, after finishing as runner-up in two consecutive seasons of The Bachelorette.

Career

Nicholas began his television career in 2014 when he appeared as a contestant on Season 10 of The Bachelorette on ABC. Competing for the heart of Andi Dorfman, Viall quickly became one of the most talked-about contestants of the season and ultimately finished as the runner-up.

He returned to the franchise the following year for Season 11 of The Bachelorette, this time pursuing Kaitlyn Bristowe. Once again, Viall advanced to the final stage of the competition and finished as the runner-up, making him one of the few contestants to reach the final two in consecutive seasons.

In 2016, Viall joined Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise, another installment of The Bachelor franchise that brings together former contestants from previous seasons. His appearance further increased his popularity with viewers.

Viall later took on the lead role in Season 21 of The Bachelor, which premiered in 2017. As the central figure of the season, he dated a group of contestants throughout the series and ultimately became engaged to Vanessa Grimaldi during the finale.
