New York City to install vending machines with free sharing of stories to read.

In New York, there are many machines: drinks, snacks, personal protective equipment. Now the city can also add story machines to this list, where stories can be read for free, reports Time Out.

It's set in Brooklyn's fantasy center. Visitors can select a story from three categories (which change regularly) and "press" the Touch Button, and the machine selects the story at random.

The stories are curated by the staff of the fiction center, based on the international literature database. This database was created by the Centre's community, which consists of writers, novice writers, winners and shortlisted authors, teachers and students.

On one of the three buttons there will always be children's stories. The themes of others change all year round from classic folk tales to the latest works of various genres.

The idea is to offer "tactile moments in one, three or five minutes of Reading where one, three or five minutes can touch a story on an environmentally friendly roll".

"Reading on paper is more active and encourages dreaming and sharing," say the authors of the idea.

From 2016 when it was released, the automatic storytelling machine traveled the whole world. Two thousand eighteen he won the Consumer Electronic Show award "technology for a better world". Currently, there are more than 300 stories around the world, and their number exceeds 56,000.

February the Brooklyn fiction center will open at 15 Lafayette Avenue.
