Mormon Wives OC Drama Begins

Avery Woods is getting ready for a more public chapter as she joins Hulu’s upcoming The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County.

The 31-year-old influencer discussed the spinoff with Us Weekly while promoting her Olive June collaboration. Woods said the new series will follow California-based mothers whose lives intersect through different views on faith, family and Mormon culture.

“It’s reality TV, there’s going to be drama,” Woods teased.

Her Hulu debut comes as she launches a 12-piece press-on nail line with Olive June. The collection was created for women balancing parenting, work and everyday routines. Woods said the deal made sense because she already used the brand and wanted a project that felt genuine, not like a quick endorsement.

The Orange County series will feature cast members with varied connections to the church. Some women remain active in the faith, others grew up Mormon before stepping away, while some were never Mormon but have close personal ties to the community.

Woods said that background feels familiar to her own life. She married young, became a mother in her early 20s and first met her husband, David, at 18. The couple has been married since 2016.

According to Woods, the cast does not share one lifestyle or one point of view. The women approach parenting, clothing, speech and personal values differently, which has created both tension and deeper conversations. She believes the show will give viewers a look at how those differences shape the group’s relationships.

Woods was announced in April as part of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County. The cast also includes McCall Dapron, Aspyn Ovard, Bobbi Althoff, Salomé Andrea, Ashleigh Pease, Madison Bontempo and Chandler Higginson.
